About Everett:
Everett Worthington is Commonwealth Professor Emeritus since his retirement from Virginia Commonwealth University on October 1, 2017. He is still affiliated with the Department of Psychology. In academic year 2018-2019, he will serve also as Distinguished Visiting Scholar in the Department of Psychology at Wheaton College in Illinois. His research and writing focus on forgiveness and other virtues, religion and spirituality, and issues related to marriage and family. His mission is to help individuals (every heart), couples and families (every home), and even communities and countries (every homeland) forgive.

About Martin:
Martin is originally from the northwest of Ireland. He spent eight years in seminary and was ordained a Catholic priest in July 2001. After nine years of working in parishes in Ireland, he left ministry, and subsequently married his wife, Laura, who works as physician in the US Army. He was a stay at home dad for five and a half years. During that time he completed an MA in theology (Catholic Distance University), started an MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (Walden University), and began an EdD program in Community Care and Counseling with a specialization in Pastoral Counseling (Liberty University). He recently began his counseling practicum at the Hawaii Center for Children and Families. Martin am interested in intersections between religion, spirituality, and counseling, and in psychological factors that contribute to spiritual growth and development.
