Dr. Christopher Townsend holds a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision. He is a licensed professional counselor and approved supervisor in the state of Texas. Dr. Townsend dedicates his life and practice to aiding the vulnerable through social justice and advocacy. His advocacy efforts involve civic engagement, writing policy, and challenging/ deconstructing laws that impact marginalized individuals. Moreover, Dr. Townsend believes in the 4th and 5th wave of counseling: Multiculturalism and the need for more culturally competent counselors in the field.
