Robyn Trippany

Robyn Trippany Simmons has been in the counseling profession for over 20 years, with clinical experience in both the public and private sectors and faculty appointments in both on-ground and online counselor training programs. She is a member of the American Counseling Association, the Association for Play Therapy, the Association for Counselor Education and Supervision, as well as her state and regional chapters of these organizations. Dr. Simmons research and clinical interests include sexual trauma, vicarious trauma, play therapy, and professional identity issues. She has numerous publications in professional counseling journals, textbook chapters, and professional newsletters and has presented locally, regionally, nationally, and internationally on these topics. Additionally, she serves as the women’s ministry leader for her church, as well as serving on other ministry teams, and is a board member for the Committee on Church Cooperation.
