Julie Goldenson, PhD
Dr. Julie Goldenson is a clinical and forensic psychologist who practices in the criminal and civil arena. She is frequently retained as an expert to evaluate harms from institutional abuse. As a professor at University of Toronto, she teaches assessment of personality and psychopathology at the doctoral level in their Department of Applied Psychology and Human Development. Julie remains actively engaged in research and has a number of first-author publications related to forensic psychological assessment, the psychological impact of trauma and adverse childhood experiences, domestic violence, and female offenders. She is a member of the Program in Psychiatry and the Law in association with Massachusetts Mental Health Center/Harvard Medical School. She is also a contributing editor of Psychological Injury and the Law and is a past present of the Ontario Psychological Association.
