In the Department of Neurology, I have engaged in multidisciplinary collaboration to create 3 clinical services: Functional Neurological Disorders (NEE and FMD), Psychological Intervention For Intractable Epilepsy and Epilepsy Surgery, and the Cognitive & Behavioral Movement Disorders Clinic (comprehensive care for patients with movement disorders and psychiatric/cognitive comorbidity). My additional roles include being the primary neuropsychologist for Parkinson’s Deep Brain Stimulator surgical candidates, in addition to general outpatient neuropsychological evaluation responsibilities in the Department of Psychiatry. My clinical research focuses on patient-centered outcomes of neuropsychological assessment and integrated neurological symptom-focused psychotherapy, and pathophysiology and treatment of cognitive and psychiatric comorbidities of Functional Neurological Disorders, Epilepsy, Epilepsy Surgeries, and Movement Disorders.
