Christie Jenkins, PhD

Dr. Jenkins is the President of SAIGE, Co-Faculty Advisor for Walden LGBTQ+ PRIDE, and she completed her Master’s thesis on gay and lesbian battering. She has worked with survivors of interpersonal violence and their families for 27 years. She has been a counselor educator and independently licensed counselor for 17 years, working primarily in the inner city. She has received many awards in counseling, legislative advocacy, and social change.
