Jerrod Brown, PhD presents a live professional training program on Behavioral Health Aspects of Screen Time Misuse.

As our world becomes increasingly digitized, it's important to be aware of the potential negative effects of excessive screen time exposure. This training will discuss the ways in which too much screen time can negatively impact mental health, from mood and behavior to cognition and physical health. This training is designed for professionals interested in learning how excessive screen time exposure affects mood, behavior, cognition, physical health, and criminality.

Risk factors, warning signs, and other contributing factors of excessive screen time exposure with also be discussed. Implications for screening and intervention through a behavioral health lens will be explored. Empirically-based research findings will be presented throughout this training.
