Mollimichelle Cabeldue, PhD
Mollimichelle Cabeldue, Ph.D. is a licensed psychologist in Texas. She obtained a master’s degree in clinical psychology at Sam Houston State University and then earned a doctoral degree in clinical psychology with an emphasis in forensic psychology at Fairleigh Dickinson University. She completed an APA-accredited internship at Eastern Virginia Medical School and Eastern State Hospital, working with pretrial defendants found incompetent to stand trial and individuals acquitted not guilty by reason of insanity. She also completed a forensic postdoctoral fellowship through Tulane School of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, with clinical work at Eastern Louisiana Mental Health System, which included conducting court-ordered evaluations. Currently, Dr. Cabeldue works as a forensic evaluator at the Austin State Hospital, conducting court-ordered evaluations including competency to stand trial, risk assessments, and other relevant psychological testing, including assessment of feigning/malingering. She also supervises doctoral-level psychology trainees and psychiatric residents. Her interests in forensic psychology are focused on violence risk assessment, competency to stand trial treatment issues, a trauma in offender populations, and feigning/malingering assessment.
