About Jessica:

JessicaJessica Smith is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Addiction Counselor in private practice in Denver. She is a trauma-informed therapist trained in EMDR and yoga therapy. Jessica believes self-care is an act of self-love and she is passionate about spreading this message to her fellow healers and clients. Jessica presents at national conferences on topics such as self-care, trauma-informed care, and yoga in recovery. Jessica ‘s article “A counselor’s journey back from burnout” was published in the April 2017 issue of Counseling Today and her article on using yoga, meditation, and breathwork to move through trauma will be published in Counseling Today in the fall. Jessica is currently writing a collaborative memoir with a former client in the justice system and a memoir on healing from burnout.
