This live training on Becoming a Transformational Therapist: Introducing Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP) is presented by Dr. Jonathan Peretz.
Rooted in the short-term psychodynamic tradition but informed by contemporary attachment theory, affective neuroscience, somatic approaches, and transformational studies, Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP) seeks to help clients traverse difficult emotional and relational experiences to release blocked energy and regain resources. Through lecture, clinical video, and experiential exercises, participants will learn the basic elements of AEDP’s transformational approach and develop a clear understanding of the affective and relational change mechanisms at the heart of this contemporary model.
The intended audience for this workshop includes all mental health and allied professionals, including psychologists, social workers, and counselors. This workshop is appropriate for beginner, intermediate, and advanced clinicians.

Our goal is to make this as interactive an experience as possible for those who attend virtually by zoom. Please expect to share your webcam and unmute yourself to ask questions and make comments, just as you would if you were to attend in person. There will be someone in each workshop room who is monitoring zoom attendees and who will alert the presenter to questions or comments from virtual attendees.
Please alert the room monitor to your question or comment by typing a “?” In the chat box and then wait to be called on. You will then be able to unmute your microphone and ask your question or make your comment. If you do not have a microphone, please type your question or comment in the chat box and the room monitor will read it aloud to the presenter. Whenever possible, we prefer that you share your webcam when asking a question so the presenter and in person attendees can see you, making for a nicer experience for all 🙂
