Dr. Keith Cruise is an Associate Professor and Co-Director of the Clinical-Forensic Specialization in the Department of Psychology at Fordham University. He holds a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of North Texas and a Masters of Legal Studies degree from the University of Nebraska. Dr. Cruise conducts research on the clinical-forensic assessment of youth within the juvenile justice system. In his clinical practice, he has provided direct care assessment and treatment services with justice-involved youth, offered expert testimony to juvenile courts, and developed treatment protocols for this population. Dr. Cruise also has over 10 years of experience providing consultation and training services to local and state juvenile justice agencies. He is a co-author of the Short-Term Assessment of Risk and Treatability: Adolescent Version (START:AV), a co-investigator on an National Institute of Justice grant to examine the effectiveness of screening for poly-victimization, and core faculty member of the Center for Trauma Recovery and Juvenile Justice.
